ACM joins National Night Out.
ACM joins National Night Out '06 We at ACM Records invite you to join us at the thirteenth annual National Night Out against crime to support local police, local community organizations and branches of the military. National Night Out will be playing ACM’s The Heart of America and The Ultimate Sacrifice, spreading the powerful message of music to the many thousands of expected attendees. National Night Out, sponsored by Target, has over thirty million people involved every year from communities throughout the entire fifty states. Visitors will enjoy multicultural culinary delights from local merchants and restaurants. The 2005 National Night Out event attracted over two thousand visitors and their families to the festivities. We are anticipating an even larger crowd of participants due to additionally planned attractions and other noteworthy events. This year’s event is designed to: 1) Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, 2) Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime efforts, 3) Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, 4) Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and are fighting back against crime.
